3-Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune
AFMC, Pune is an amalgamation of a number of defense medical organizations. It is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Medical Sciences. It has a total capacity of 130 students (105 boys and 25 girls) who have to serve as Medical Officers in the Armed Forces.
Candidates will be admitted based on NEET scores. They must, however, apply for the Institute separately. The registration process will begin in July. AFMC, Pune will publish a merit list of shortlisted applicants on the basis of NEET rank.
4-Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry
JIPMER, Puducherry is a renowned medical college. It conducts its own entrance exam. It has a maximum capacity of 150 seats for MBBS course. It’s Karaikal campus has about 50 seats.
JIPMER MBBS entrance exam is held in June. The application forms will be available from March. More than 1 lakh individuals apply for JIPMER every year.
