How to get the Airtel recharge on your phone
* Via the Airtel website: Access the Airtel website and look for ‘Prepaid’. Choose the prepaid recharge option of your choice, from the two options listed above. Next, click on the option you want, and enter your 10-digit Airtel phone number. Once you input this number, you can proceed to pay for the recharge online using the payment options made available on the screen. The payment is processed at once, and your phone connection remains active.
* Via the myAirtel smartphone app: Another great prepaid recharge option is available with the myAirtel smartphone app. Install the app on your phone and proceed to set it up by keying in your name, 10-digit Airtel prepaid number and linking your card/account to the app. You can even choose to load money in the Airtel Payments Bank, an e-wallet that doubles up as a savings account for Airtel subscribers only. Follow the recharge steps as directed on the screen (you can even choose between quick recharge options) and proceed to pay the recharge amount.
* Via BHIM or PhonePe apps: Airtel recharge can also be done via BHIM or PhonePe, the most trusted UPI apps in India. All you need to do is install the UPI app on your phone, and choose the ‘Business’ – in this case, Airtel prepaid recharge – and create an Airtel prepaid account on the app by keying in your phone number. This detail is now saved on the app, and you are prompted to do the recharge whenever the pack validity or balance runs out.
