1. First, take a soft cotton cloth. Make sure that the cloth is clean. Moisten the cloth with water and then wring out all the excess water from it. The cloth should be barely damp.

4. Wipe the benches with the damp cloth in order to remove all the oils, grime and grease residue. You should not forget to wipe the crevices and the carvings of the pews with the bristle brush. Also, make sure that you rub the brush and the cloth in the same direction as the wood

5. In this step, you need to dry and buff the benches with a piece of clean microfiber cloth. This will restore the shine of the benches. Repeat the same process from time to time in order to clean the church benches.
