What is The Salary for RBI Assistant Post?
- Selected candidates will get an in-hand salary of Rs 32, 528/- per month.
- The Basic pay being Rs 14,650/-

What is the Selection Process?
There are 3 stages in the RBI Assistant Recruitment Process. Only by clearing all 3 stages of the exam will the final appointment be done.
- Prelims Online Test: The First Stage of the exam is only qualifying in nature. The marks scored in the prelims test are not considered in the final selection. This test questions candidates on English Language, Numerical Ability & Reasoning Ability.
- Mains Online Exam:The marks scored in the Mains exam will be considered for final selection in the exam. Mains Exam will question candidates in Reasoning Ability, English, Numerical Ability, General Knowledge & Computer Knowledge
- Language Proficiency Test:This test will be conducted offline in the local language of the region. RBI considers this test to be important as the employees of any brach of RBI should be well versed in the local language of that area to communicate with people easily.

Following is the RBI Assistant Paper Pattern for Prelims exam –

- Negative Marking is applicable for the exam. 0.25 Marks or 1/4 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- 1 Mark will be rewarded for each correct answer. Prelims test will be conducted for a total off 100 marks.
- There is no Sectional Time Limit in the exam.
