Time Management Tips for JEE Main 2019
There are a total of three sections in the JEE Main paper and you will get 3 hours to attempt the test. Some of the important tips that might be helpful for you while appearing for JEE Main 2019 are given below:
First Round of Attempt – In the first round of attempt, it is advisable that you should attempt all the easy questions which mean those questions which can be attempted within 1.5 minutes along with high accuracy. If your preparation is good enough and your concepts are clear, you will be able to attempt a large number of questions and get a decent score. Make sure that you don’t spend so much time in attempting this section. Try to complete this section within 1.5 hours.
Second Round of Attempt – In the second round of attempt, do those questions which were left in the first round but don’t attempt the difficult questions now. Attempt those questions which take around 3 minutes to solve them. Don’t spend more than 45 minutes in attempting questions from this section. Also, don’t spend too much time on a single question. Skip the question if you find it tricky or calculative.
Final Round – To attempt a final round of questions, you are only left with 30 minutes. In the last 30 minutes, answer the questions which are left including the tricky ones and also those questions which are time-consuming. Remember one thing that answering these questions correctly will no doubt improve your rank but don’t forget the negative side that incorrect answers will also bring your score down. Don’t try to guess the answer in these questions. It is advisable that you must do only those questions for which you are 100% sure. Don’t guess. As there is a negative marking for every incorrect answer, so, be careful while answering the question. If you don’t know the answer, it’s wise to leave that question rather than answering it incorrectly.
Don’t forget to revisit the un-attempted questions and give them a look for the last time. There are chances that you might get the answer. At last, I just want to say that you must not get panic and just be calm and composed and attempt the exam with a free mind. Trust your capabilities and knowledge. Understand that you prepared well and then appear for the examination.
