People feel that a moving company is generally really expensive and only the high can afford to contract a moving company. People feel that strangers cannot be trusted with their belongings, which is why they don’t hire a moving company. They should realize that the moving company would have carefully vetted the individual they have hired to move your belongings and because they had no prior history of thievery, they would have been hired. The company’s reputation is at stake and so they would make sure that they keep it untainted.
- Movers Wouldn’t Take Responsibility for Lost or Broken Items.
If a company offers to take care of your belongings and you give it to them in faith, they are obviously taking responsibility for whatever happens to the belongings until and unless they hand them over to you. Almost all moving companies take liability for broken/lost items.

The price can also be negotiated and not all movers charge the same price as they have different business and service models.
